Position Highlights the hospital is expanding its team and is seeking a full-time Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. This new position will join a dedicated team of 7 full-time and 1 part-time consultants, supported by House Officers and advanced trainees.

Key Responsibilities Provide acute Obstetrics and Gynaecology care as part of a 1:8 roster. Deliver hands-on patient care in acute cases and general O&G services. Collaborate with rural hospitals in Kaitaia, the Bay of Islands, and Dargaville.
Contribute to teaching and mentoring House Officers, trainees, and medical students. Opportunity to develop and pursue special interests within Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The hospital 260 bed secondary general facility with full range of medical and surgical services including 24/7 emergency department.
It supports three small satellite hospitals across the Northland region of the North Island of New Zealand.
